We are a family owned, private company, trying to make a huge impact at Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Tahoe Basin. Research has shown that there is a link between the clarity in the near shore environment and the overpopulation of the Signal Crayfish. Our goal is to help the clarity of Lake Tahoe by harvesting the crayfish and in doing so, we can also help stimulate the Economy by providing jobs and a sustainable product which Tahoe can their own. The harvested crayfish will go from our hands to our wholesaler Sierra Gold Seafood who will then distribute to local casinos and restaurants. All harvest data will be shared with all agencies concerned and with the university of Nevada Reno (Dr. Sudeep Chandra) for further research to tie the improvement in clarity with the management of the crayfish. We have a goal in mind....
